Paris Brothers, a Kansas City, Mo., specialty foods company providing warehousing, logistics and distribution services, signed a new lease agreement for more than 500,000 square feet of warehouse, cooler and freezer space spanning four buildings in the underground building of Hunt MidWest SubTropolis.
The Ballet, Quixotic Fusion and The Symphony are featured on Parisi Coffee’s new packages
Parisi Coffee debuted its innovative designs for all of its in-store coffee packaging in late 2011. The colorful new packaging – which uses vibrant colors on a white background – was created to characterize the company’s new brand and logo as well as Parisi’s commitment to support local arts programs. The designs feature three of Kansas City’s arts community organizations on the back of each bag of coffee.
USDA Selects Paris Brothers as Small Business Contractor of the Year
Kansas City’s own, Paris Brothers Inc. was recently selected by the United States Department of Agriculture as the National Small Business Contractor of the Year for 2011.
Paris Brothers was nominated and selected for this prestigious award as a reflection of the company’s overall contract performance and for doing its part to make effective commodity programs.
Since 2003 Paris Brothers has provided contract food distribution services for the USDA’s Multifoods program, providing a needed service to efficiently and effectively distribute food supplies to government supported agencies throughout the Western United States. What had begun as a test program quickly evolved into a permanent and successful government-private industry partnership.

The annual USDA Small Business and AbilityOne Award Program will take place in Washington D.C. June 22. Representatives from Paris Brothers will be at the program to accept the award.
